Tyson Seburn writes about his experience in the Image Conference in Athens.

1. What did you enjoy about The Image Conference?

I especially enjoyed the connections created and further developed between myself and other educators that attended, surrounding the use of multimedia in the classroom.

2. How was The Image Conference different from other conferences you’ve been to?
I’ve said this before, but it’s the specificity of multi-modality considerations within the ELT classroom.

3. What were the main discussion points to arise in The Image Conference?
Inclusion seemed to be a common theme among most of the talks and resulting discussions, particularly with regards to the theme of teaching refugees that was a part of this conference.

4. Are there any innovations to the format of the Image Conference that you would like to see in the future?
I liked the idea of a theme and how a SIG strand was included.
