There was a large variety of sessions to choose from and the speakers and participants came from many different countries. It was a very international and inspirational event.

I found the focus of approaching ELT from an ‘image’ perspective innovative.

Making pupils media lit! Integrating media literacy into language lessons

This interactive workshop enhanced teachers’ media literacy and critical thinking skills and provided them with a practical toolbox and inspirational ideas for their English lessons. The activities focused on images (e.g. emoji, reverse image search) and videos (e.g. deep fake).
